Here we go again.. Slim pickings at the top of the political heap.. Once again a seemingly un tainted political apointee..Comes up dirty... Thank you Bill for conceding prior to pulling Obama through the looking glass with you.. Tough System.. Political favoritism in a good ol boy network? Naaaw... Isn't graft a part of commerce? Business as usual.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

The challenge continues in the quest for qualified cabinet heads. Even in the Who,s Who of National  politics.. I do find it od.. that Obama fishes for appointee,s from the same pond that attempted to drown him during the presidential campaign.. Good luck to you Governor.. I hope this mess can be cleaned up quickly...   Do you feel that the Governor has done anything POLITICALLY INCORRECT ?

There is an old political philosophy " Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"  It does make sense especially give he enormous job Obama has a head of him.  He doesn't need anyone from his own party taking pot shots at him.

I highly question this turn of events, because how did Richardson get so far without this coming to light.  This appears to be an attempt to get to Obama through those around him.  I am betting that he will be exonerated of these charges. The interesting thing is who started this investigation?

Maybe Obama will display his aptitude for real change, and nominate a corrupt Republican to replace this corrupt Democrat. Sigh.

At least Richardson had the decency to resign ! Unlike a certain Democratic Illinois Governor.

Hey.. I'm a (so-called) democrat and it seemed to me that Richardson was above board.

so OK...call me naive, and maybe he hasn't done anything inappropriately, but, lets face it...theres too many "coincidences" in politics these days about contributions leading to preferential treatment.

I'm from Connecticut and "our" governor went to jail all for having the bathroom floor tiled (for "free") in his summer cottage....................Im still laughing about that one.

Life goes on.  Politics goes on.

    Happy New Year.

Project44.   The road Blocks thrown in front  of Obama will be endless... I too thought he was above board, and in fact nothing has been presented to show other wise.. Perhaps the donation records required  will eventually clear him..

In the case of P.E. Obama.. it's  tough to rub elbows in politics with out getting your shirt a little dirty..  So Far so good...   he will be the most scrutinized President in history.. Thanks to the BUSH ADMINISTRATION and its treatment of the American general Public..

I think of it this way....it's a good thing for us because everyone of his picks will go under a microscope and any flaws will be exposed. We've needed that for a long time.
